Big Knob Livestock Club

For the Eighth year Big Knob Livestock Club will continue a thirty-two-year tradition of the show and sale.  The independent and incorporated club is an organization promoting the raising of superior grain-fed animals as a learning experience for young people, for show, and sale at the Fair.  This years show and sale will feature market steers, hogs, lambs, and goats (to be delivered to the meat processor of choice).  The Annual Auction will begin on Thursday August 29, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. (buyers dinner starting at 4:30pm).

Lambs and goats will be shown and judged on Tuesday evening, followed by hogs and steers Wednesday evening (shows are open to the public).

In addition, there will be Community Service animals sold with the proceeds going to special recipients to be announced. Please support the leaders and young members of the Big Knob Livestock Club, Inc.

Big Knob Antique Tractor and Equipment Club

The Big Knob Antique Tractor and Equipment Association, BKATEA, will be making its 30th appearance
this year at the Big Knob Grange Fair. Association members will be displaying restored antique
tractors and equipment, plus model tractors, antique tools, literature and other items related to
mechanized farming from years ago.
Look for us to the left of the outdoor stage on the upper Grange grounds. The BKATEA will be doing
a raffle again this year. Tickets can be purchased to win an Allis-Chalmers pedal tractor, 1/16
scale Allis-Chalmers model farm tractors, or Allis-Chalmers wall thermometer. The drawing for one
of the 1/16 scale model tractors will be pulled on Saturday night at the conclusion of the Fair.
The winning tickets for the other items will be drawn at the conclusion of the BKATEA show at the
Grange on Sept. 8th.
The Big Knob Antique Tractor and Equipment Association was established in 1996 and has around 200
members, mostly from the Beaver County area. The purpose of the BKATEA is “to promote the
interrelated hobbies of antique farm and industrial equipment collection, repair, restoration,
presentation and demonstration”.
Besides participating in the annual Big Knob Grange Fair, the Association does an annual antique
tractor show September 6, 7, 8, 2024 on the Grange Fairgrounds.
The show will include tractor pulling, grain threshing, a tractor parade and tractor games. For the
kids we will have a pedal tractor parade and pedal tractor pull.
If you want to become a member of the BKATEA, sign up at the display area at the Fair. Dues are $10
per year. The Association currently meets at the Grange the 3rd Monday evening of each month at
8:00 pm. The members of BKATEA invite everyone to come to the free 82nd Annual Big Knob Grange Fair
this year and take in all of the sights, including our exhibit.
