Meet the 2025 Fair Queen
Alexis Hewitt
Alexis Hewitt, age 17, is a proud member of both the Big Knob Grange and 4-H. With a deep love for animals, she’s been an enthusiastic participant in craft and 4-H projects at the fair for years. Alexis also volunteers at the National Aviary, where she channels her passion for wildlife and conservation. Her future ambitions include becoming a rabbit judge and pursuing a major in zoology—goals that perfectly blend her interests in animal care and science.
Fair Queen
The Fair Queen program is to promote a greater understanding and awareness of agriculture and its importance to Pennsylvania. It’s a great opportunity for a young lady to take on a leadership role and serve as a very important advocate, educator, and role model to the younger generation.
The 2026 fair queen will compete for the 2027 Pennsylvania State Fair Queen in January at the annual PA Fair convention in Hershey, PA. Any, female between the ages of 16-20 who has an interest/love for the fair, agriculture, or both should fill out the application. Click the links to the left for more info and to fill out the application. Applications must be submitted by July 15, 2026. We will be hosting the applicant interviews in August, date TBA.
The Queen will be crowned on the Outdoor Stage during Opening Ceremonies, September 1, 6 pm.

Princess
NEW for 2026!!!
The Princess Program is an exciting new opportunity for young ladies ages 13–15 with a love/interest for agriculture, the fair, or both to step into leadership, build confidence, and represent the Big Knob Grange Fair in a meaningful way. The Princess will learn about PA agriculture, the fair industry, and serve as a representative for the Big Knob Grange Fair. It’s a chance to grow, make memories, and discover strengths they may not even realize they have yet. Any girl who wants to challenge herself, give back to her community, and be part of something special is encouraged to apply. Lil' Miss
NEW for 2026!!
The Lil’ Miss Program invites girls ages 10–12 to step into a fun, confidence‑building role within the Big Knob Grange Fair. This brand‑new opportunity helps a young girl learn poise, kindness, community involvement, and the basics of agriculture in PA and the fair industry in an age‑appropriate way. It’s a chance to make friends, try something new, discover strengths they may not even realize they have yet, and make memories. Any girl who loves helping others, enjoys the fair or agriculture, or both, and wants to grow her confidence is encouraged to apply.
